About The Pai de Santo
Meet Cyro
Pai de Santo (Father of Saint) Cyro Estevão was born and raised in Brazil coming from a family of mediums. He was initiated, baptized, cruzado, and trained ten years with Mae de Santo Mara Souza at the Tenda Espírita São Jorge Guerreiro de Umbanda in Curitiba, Brazil. Cyro is Son of Oxóssi and Yemanjá. He has trained extensively to receive permissions from the elders to work with the community energetically and in spoken consultations in all lines of Umbanda. He is also cruzado, meaning he has been given permission to train other mediums in their spiritual development through Umbanda.

About Umbanda
Rooted in West African Orisha religion, Umbanda contains the power of deep origins. Enslaved peoples brought their practices to Brazil where it was mixed with the beliefs of Indigenous groups, Spiritism, and Catholic saint veneration and became a highly inclusive tradition. Umbanda recognizes the interconnectivity of all things and is a beautiful ceremony of devotion and love. Both in Brazil and in Colorado, Umbanda is a donation-based charitable resource for the community.
